3/4 wide material is well suited for Large/XL dogs, and pullers or dogs with leash-reactivity.
Black textured PVC for a superior grip; Colored PVC for accent. Both are non-porous "Made in the USA" Biothane® and stink proof, waterproof, grime proof.
Easy to clean and sanitize — Use the same CDC protocol for washing your DAE Lead® as you would your hands ... soap and scrub for Happy Birthday x2! Or, use a non-alcohol based disinfectant spray (e.g., Lysol). DO NOT use alcohol sanitizers — they will stiffen the material.
Designed by real world behavioral dog trainer Shawn Stewart and dog mom & designer Rebecca L. DeLuccia for optimal length, hand positioning, grip and durability.
Shawn ditched the traditional "6ft length" for his signature measurement creating the perfect loose leash feel without added material.
Thumb loop for optimal hand positioning. O-ring on thumb loop allow cross-body wear when not in use with dog. O-ring along leash body converts traditional lead to integrated choke+lead.

(NOTE: Powder coat finish is a high-quality durable finish but not damage proof. Chips and scratches can occur over time. The PVD finish is highly durable, long lasting and scratch resistant).
Durable black/nickle rivets and rings with the Gun Metal, Red and Black hooks. Bronze rivets and rings with the Bronze hook.
